Insights, stories, and expert advice on doula care, maternal health, and parenting

Birth doesn't always go as we plan. Some moments are calm, some rush by in a blur. But no matter how it unfolds, what stays with a mother is whether she felt seen, heard, and respected.
As a birth worker, my goal is not to advocate for one type of birth, but to support your birth. Whether you're preparing for a birth in a tub, a hospital birth with an epidural, or a cesarean with music playing and a doula by your side, I’m here for it. The language we use matters because it shapes the way we see ourselves and each other. So I choose words that affirm all birthing people, in all the ways they bring life into the world. Because every birth is natural.
