I have a deep love for providing village-style care to new moms and their families. I offer hands-on, in-home support focused on helping you rest, recover, and feel truly cared for
Hi! I'm Batsheva. I'm a mama of two and a firm believer that women need a village- especially in the tender, transformative postpartum period. I offer support that's responsive to each mother's needs, blending practical care with calm, attentive emotional presence. Whether I'm stocking your fridge with nourishing meals, supporting you with breastfeeding, or caring for your baby so you can rest, my goal is the same- to help you feel supported and held in this beautiful time.
From a young age, I've felt deeply connected to motherhood and the miracle of life. As I grew older, I gained an understanding for the way support- or lack thereof- shapes a woman's experience during major life transitions as a whole. Becoming a mother myself only deepened those truths. Experiencing firsthand how vulnerable, powerful, and demanding the postpartum period can be clarified for me how essential practical, compassionate support truly is. I became a postpartum doula because I believe no woman should have to navigate that season alone. I feel honored to have the opportunity to be a calm, capable presence during such a transformative time in a woman's life
My approach is intuitive, responsive, and deeply attuned to each woman as an individual. I don't work from a checklist or a pre-existing support model. I meet mothers where they are and support what's needed most in the moment. It's important to me to be able to notice what needs attention, and to take initiative so you don't need to manage or explain. This is your time. I'm here to lighten your load physically and mentally so you can focus on healing and bonding with your baby
